SHEPPARD, William "John" April 9, 1924 - October 19, 2019 John, was a proud veteran of the Royal Canadian Artillery (2nd Canadian Infantry, B Troop), whose service in WWII included the Liberation of Holland and the saving of 5 million people from imminent starvation. Drafted in 1952, he served as a medic in the Army of Occupation in Germany. His family relocated to Orlando, Florida, where Bill graduated from Edgewater High School before graduating from Florida State University. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved William G. Shepard (Fort Meade, Florida), born in Jacksonville, Florida, who passed away at the age of 70, on February 24, 2023.
